Krista Roma

Krista is a seasoned dance artist with 15 years of professional experience under her belt.

Formerly part of the internationally renowned hip hop group, Philippine Allstars, she’s graced stages as a front act for international artists like the Pussycat Dolls, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, JLo, Nicki Minaj, and 2NE1. She’s also danced onstage with artists like Gary V, Lea Salonga, Jay Sean and Craig David.

As a choreographer, she’s worked in prestigious beauty pageants such Miss World Philippines and Miss Universe Philippines. Her dance knowledge is shaped not only by her wide-ranging experience but also by her trips to New York where she immerses herself in different dance styles and trains under the best industry movers.

Currently in Manila, she’s focused on teaching and helping her students solidify their foundations in movement and performance. She holds classes called Groove Sessions at Beast House and coaches elementary through high school at an international school in Taguig City.

A US-certified dance teacher for people with intellectual disabilities, Krista is a true advocate of inclusion. She is a coach at Special Olympics Pilipinas where she created a program that helps their athletes develop movement skills through the art of dance.
